Single Family Residences are homes designed to house one family per unit. This includes detached single family homes as well as townhouses and duplexes that are serviced by individual water and power meters. Residential Utility Rates include water, sewer, surface water management, King County sewage treatment rates and garbage rates. (Garbage service is billed separately by Republic Services)
If you live in the City limits of Renton garbage service is mandatory. The City contracts with Republic Services to provide garbage, recycling and organics waste service. Garbage and recycling is picked up every other week and organics waste is picked up weekly. Please call Republic Services at 206-777-6440 for any questions regarding billing, pick up days, to change your container size, and all other garbage related questions.
