The Renton Historical Society is currently accepting applications for new trustees for the Board of the Renton History Museum. The Board is the oversight, policy-making, and fundraising body for the museum. It meets on the last Tuesday of the month from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., with other committee meetings as needed. Trustees serve three-year terms.
New trustees have the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the Museum Master Plan. The Board is focused on building museum membership, reaching out to diverse communities, and preparing for a capital campaign. We are looking for enthusiastic people, interested in advancing our mission of documenting, preserving, and education about Renton's rich heritage. Fundraising, event planning, and/or marketing skills are particularly desirable.
For more information or an application, please contact Museum Director Elizabeth P. Stewart by
email or by phone at 425-255-2330.
