Package thefts from homes and businesses are a constant concern. If you’re expecting package deliveries, the Renton Police Department has this short video with tips on protecting those deliveries.

Safe Exchange Zone
Online transactions that culminate in a face-to-face meeting are another way of getting that perfect gift. But often these transactions can go wrong. Renton Police have established a Safe Exchange Zone at city hall where these transactions can take place in the daytime, steps away from the police station.
Drug Disposal Kiosk
A tamper-proof drug disposal kiosk is located just inside the first floor lobby. It is accessible 24-hours a day, seven days a week either via the City Hall lobby (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) or via the police department walk-up window after hours.
The kiosk accepts bottles up to 6 inches in diameter and 12 inches tall. It does not accept medical waste.
