The Renton History Museum offers changing exhibits, programs, publications, and events to share Renton’s stories, past and present. The Museum’s home is the 1942 Renton Fire Station No. 1; it is the last existing structure in the area built under the Works Progress Administration (WPA). The Museum is situated in historic downtown Renton and is surrounded by local shops and restaurants, offers free parking, and is close to the KCLS Renton Library, Liberty Park, and the Cedar River.
