Traffic Impacts
1. Sunset Lane Northeast
On-going Street Closure (City of Renton Resolution No. 4446).
FULL STREET CLOSURE on Sunset Lane
NE between NE 10th Street and Harrington Place NE in support the Solera Development Project (LUA20-
000305). Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be followed. Questions may be

2. Northeast 12th Street
Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19, 8:00am-3:00pm.
Intermittent lane closure on NE 12th St and
Jefferson Ave NE for utility installation. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be

3. Kirkland Avenue Northeast
Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19, 8:00am-3:00pm.
Road closure on Kirkland Ave NE between NE
Sunset Blvd and NE 12th St for utility installation. Detour route will be provided. Approved traffic control

4. Northeast Sunset Boulevard
Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19, 8:00am-3:00pm.
Intermittent lane closure on NE Sunset Blvd
between Edmonds Ave NE and Kirkland Ave NE for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were

5. Northeast Sunset Boulevard
Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19, 8:00 to 3:00pm.
Shifting lane closures both east and west on NE
Sunset Blvd between Redmond Pl NE to Union Ave NE for utility installation and frontage improvements.

6. Rainier Avenue South

between 2nd Street and NW 3rd Pl for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all

7. Monster Road Southwest

at the 600 block for construction work. Approved traffic control plans were issued for all work and will be

8.Shattuck Avenue South
Tuesday, July 16 thru Wednesday, July 17, 7:00am-4:30pm.
Wastewater Maintenance will be doing road repairs on
Shattuck Avenue South between South 2nd Street and South 3rd Street, weather permitting. Traffic control setup will be utilized and road will be open for emergency vehicles from South
3rd Street and South 2nd Street.
9. Interstate 405
Friday, July 12, 11:00p.m. thru Wednesday, July 17, 4:00a.m.
I-405 will be closed between Sunset Boulevard Northeast (Exit 5) and Coal Creek Parkway (Exit 10). This temporary closure is essential as part of the WSDOT I-405 Renton to Bellevue Widening and Express Toll Lanes Project.
