Registration starts early January of each year, and our growing season runs from mid-April to early October (exact dates are weather-dependent).

The city maintains two gardens: the North Renton Garden and the North Highlands Garden.
Scholarships are available to help with the registration fee. Youth up to age 18 years old, adults 50 & older and individuals who participate in adaptive recreation programs may complete a scholarship application.
North Renton Garden
- 713 N. First Street, Renton 98057
- City staff prepares soil and plots.
- Gardeners responsible to maintain and water their plots.
- Water available.
- Limit one (1) space per household.
- Plots are approximately 10’ x 40’
- Register for #18545 Fee: $34 resident/$40 non-resident.

North Highlands Garden
- 3000 NE 16th St, Renton, 98056
- Two sizes of raised-bed galvanized steel containers.
- Gardeners responsible to maintain and water their beds.
- Water is provided.
- Limit one (1) bed per household.
- Register #18537 Large raised bed: 2' x 6'. Fee: $15 resident/$20 non-resident
- Register #18536 Small raised bed: 2' x 4'. Fee: $10 resident/$15 non-resident

North Renton Greenhouse
- 3000 NE 16th St, Renton, 98056
- Year-round temperature-controlled greenhouse.
- Gardeners are responsible to provide, maintain and water their own plants.
- All plants must be started from seed in the greenhouse.
Water is provided.
- Table spaces are 4' x 3'. - limit 2 spaces per household
- Two Sessions each year
Winter / Spring = January - July
Summer / Fall = July - December
