Hassle-Free Holiday Bazaar

Renton City Concert Band

The 65-member Renton City Concert Band, under the direction of Mike Simpson, presents Borrowed, Stolen, Flipped featuring soloist John Bolender. Downtown Holiday Tree Lighting and Small Business Saturday

A full day of events in conjunction with Small Business Saturday to support small, locally owned businesses and usher in the holiday season. There will be activities for all ages, including live music, holiday treats, kids’ activities, Pop-Up Market and festive shopping. The annual stunning display of trees and shrubs professionally decorated with thousands of holiday lights is not to be missed. Decorations span the mile-long pathway paralleling the shoreline of Lake Washington and the piers. Two restaurants, Ivar’s and Kidd Valley, will be open. Opening night on November 30 will include live entertainment and holiday-themed photo opportunities with the lights turned on at 7 p.m. They will be on daily from 5 to 9 p.m. from December 1 through January 1, 2019. Enjoy a morning run or walk along the picturesque Cedar River with or without your dog. The event is open to recreational and competitive runners, walkers and families. All participants are asked to bring a donation of dog food to benefit Seattle Humane Society for Seattle/King County. Cost is $33 and registration is required.
