Frequently Asked Questions

We are here to help answer any of your questions and/or assist you through the permit, land use and/or civil construction process. The City of Renton Permit Services is located on the 6th floor of City Hall at 1055 South Grady Way, Renton, WA 98057.

Permit Services in person hours are Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Phone or email hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For general questions, we can also be reached by phone at 425-430-7200. If necessary, we will direct your call to the appropriate division.
